Starship Baby Quilt

Good morning everyone, welcome once again to Crochet Loves. We start a new month and we want to show you everything that we separate. Yes, we are definitely past the half of the year, can you believe it? It went by quickly and we were here for most of that time sharing projects with you.

I hope you are inspired and manage to feel all our gratitude on the other side. As our last patterns were crocheted, we brought a quilt for you to sew. Starship is a quilt model designed for little ones, for future astronauts.

To make this quilt you will need 3 different 1-yard pieces of fabric. It’s a simple pattern to make and even easier to love. Yes, the size of this quilt is a little smaller because it doesn’t require much fabric and can be considered a crib quilt, throw or lap quilt.

When we have little ones, we know the importance of items like this. In this size it is perfect for you to cover it in the crib or stroller. And we know that the chances of them getting dirty is pretty big. That’s why it’s important to have more than one baby quilt. Not to mention that, as soon as the children grow up, the quilt continues to be useful in everyday life. Whether to snuggle up on the couch or decorate the bed.

As for fabrics, first choose what your spaceship will be. Then choose the fabric that will be used to make the fire coming out of the base of the rocket. Finally choose the color that will be the background of your quilt. Assembling the quilt is a little different because you need to make the base of the rocket.

Follow with the cutouts, assemble the rockets and then finish with sewing them and the edge. When assembling, you can use the same pattern design or change and assemble it the way you prefer. Shall we sew? The starship baby quilt awaits you.
